Welcome to The Powerhouse Alliance Ltd (“TPA”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our websites, applications, and all associated services and platforms including The Powerhouse Diaries (TPD), The Powerhouse Playground (TPP), and any digital or in-person experiences we provide (together referred to as the “Platform”).

By accessing or using any part of the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform immediately

WHO WE ARE

The Platform is operated by Powerhouse Alliance Ltd, a New Zealand-registered company.

Our mission is to support, connect, and elevate female founders by offering community access, storytelling visibility, and commercial collaboration opportunities.

USER ACCOUNTS AND INPUT

By registering on the Platform, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated.

You may contribute content to the Platform through:

​

  • Creating a TPP profile with business-related images, descriptions, decks, offers/asks

  • Submitting content for TPD visibility features, including bios, photos, written pieces, or audio

  • Participating in feedback forms, waitlists, and application funnels

 

You are solely responsible for the content you upload, and you represent that you have the necessary rights to share it.

SERVICES - FREE AND PAID ACCESS

3.1 What You Can Access for Free

  • Submit an application to be featured on The Powerhouse Diaries

  • Create a free basic profile on The Powerhouse Playground

  • Access select newsletter content, updates, and founder opportunities

 

3.2 What Requires Payment

  • Premium visibility features on TPD (e.g., branded reels, blog features, editorial design)

  • Enhanced TPP profiles (e.g., boosted ranking, additional visibility, custom matchmaking)

  • Tickets to digital or live events

  • Future membership tiers and access to premium networking circles (e.g., The Gentlewoman’s Club)

 

Prices are listed in USD and processed via Stripe. All digital visibility products are non-refundable once purchased.

MEMBERSHIPS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

Some features may be offered via monthly or annual membership plans.

You agree:

  • Memberships auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle

  • Cancellation rules vary by plan:

    • Monthly: cancel any time before your next billing date

    • Annual: cancellation effective at the end of the billing year

USER GENERATED CONTENT (UGC)

You retain ownership of your content, but by submitting it to us, you grant TPA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute it across our media channels and marketing platforms.

We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion if it violates these Terms, applicable laws, third party rights, or for any other reason where we deem removal as necessary.

COMMUNITY CONDUCT

To maintain a safe and empowering space for all users:

  • No spamming, fake accounts, or misrepresentations

  • No harassment, discrimination, or exploitative behavior

  • Respect others' intellectual property and boundaries

Failure to comply may result in suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

  • Payments are processed through Stripe. You agree to Stripe’s terms of service.

  • No refunds are given for digital visibility features, regardless of usage or timing.

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has begun.

  • TPA reserves the right to adjust pricing and offerings at any time, with reasonable notice.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All rights to the Platform, its brand assets, content, and visual design are owned by Powerhouse Alliance Ltd. You may not copy, replicate, or distribute our materials without written permission.

You represent that any content you upload does not infringe on the rights of others.

PRIVACY POLICY

Our Privacy Policy, available here:

is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

THIRD-PARTY TOOLS & SERVICES

We use third-party platforms including but not limited to:

  • Stripe for payment processing

  • Skadate for platform matchmaking

  • CRM, analytics, or scheduling tools as part of operations

We make reasonable efforts to ensure these services comply with privacy and security standards.  We will not be liable for any downtime or faults in these third party platforms.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Platform and Services are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or specific results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for:

  • Loss of income or opportunity

  • Data breach or service interruption

  • Misuse or unauthorized use of content

If liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the value of the services you have paid for in the past 12 months.

TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access without notice if you breach these Terms, misuse the Platform, or act in a way that compromises our mission, safety, or community.

​

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in New Zealand courts.

 

CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
